We are looking for a talented software engineer who can hold their own in the arena of web development. You will be working in-house at our offices in Wroclaw, Poland with fun, smart, energetic, creative individuals who are passionate about the web and latest technologies.

We are looking for someone with a unflappable can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new skills to work with our back-end development team in fast-paced environment.

Evisua’s Polish office is the foundation of our company and the base for all of our technical development. Evisua works with a broad spectrum of challenging clients, ranging from DJs to publishers and world-renowned Gaming brands Fnatic and UGAME, so projects are varied and always engaging.

Description of the role:

  • Work with a successful international company creating websites.
  • Join a young, enthusiastic programming team.
  • Create, modify and develop websites.
  • Design and software architecture.
  • Be responsible for technology-related decision making.
  • Work on major projects (such as social networking), focused on Web 2.0.
  • Possibility of flexible working hours.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of English (including technical jargon) – both speaking and in writing.
  • Ability to document your code.
  • Very good knowledge of PHP5 and OOP in PHP (awareness of the new features in PHP 5.3)
  • Knowledge of MVC model assumptions.
  • Knowledge of Smarty, Symfony, Zend Framework.
  • Very good knowledge of SQL and experience in working with MySQL5.
  • Good knowledge of (X) HTML and CSS and standards.
  • Ability to adapt to the guidelines when it comes to the formatting of the code, creating the most flexible methods of working with the framework.
  • The ability of self-testing of the developed software and catching bugs fast and correcting them.
  • Knowledge of Ajax/JavaScript and the jQuery library.
  • Knowledge of SVN version control system.

An added bonus would include:

  • Experience in working with other database systems than MySQL.
  • Experience in working with different APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Enthusiasm for the latest technology in creating web pages.
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of basic server administration.
  • Activity and ingenuity.

Salary Details
This is a full time role with a competitive salary based on your experience and portfolio.
